Modern Family Law with a Human Heart
We believe family transitions don't have to be battles. Our mission is to help families navigate change with dignity, efficiency, and care—using the best of human expertise and ethical AI.
Our Mission
WelleSpace was founded on the belief that family law doesn't have to mean family war. Too many families are torn apart by an adversarial legal system designed for conflict.
We offer a different path: one focused on resolution, healing, and building better futures. By combining legal expertise with therapeutic insights and AI-enhanced efficiency, we help families resolve disputes faster, at lower cost, and with less emotional damage.
Our practice serves those who want to protect their relationships—with their co-parent, their children, and themselves—while still addressing the legal realities of separation, divorce, or family planning.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does AI enhance your services?
AI helps us streamline intake, prepare document drafts, organize mediation materials, and provide educational resources. All AI outputs are reviewed by licensed professionals before being provided to clients.
Is mediation right for every situation?
No. Our intake process screens for domestic violence, coercion, and power imbalances that may make mediation inappropriate. We'll recommend alternative resources if mediation isn't safe or suitable.
How long does the mediation process take?
Most divorces complete in 3-6 mediation sessions over 2-4 months. Simpler matters like parenting plan updates may take 1-2 sessions. Complex financial situations may take longer.
What's the difference between mediation and litigation?
In mediation, you and your spouse work together with a neutral mediator to reach agreements. In litigation, a judge decides for you after adversarial proceedings. Mediation is typically faster, cheaper, and less stressful.
Do I need my own attorney if I use mediation?
It's optional but recommended. You can hire a consulting attorney to review documents before signing. We can provide referrals to attorneys who support the mediation process.
Is everything in mediation confidential?
Yes. Mediation communications are legally protected and cannot be used in court. The only exceptions are mandatory reporting requirements (child abuse, threats of harm).
